On a cold January morning in 2012, Theresa Hutch painted a cup of water with a straw that looked like it was bending.
Since it was the beginning of a new year, she challenged herself to make a new painting every week for the year.
Around this time, Theresa started teaching yoga and shared copies of her weekly paintings with her students.
Sharing her work with this community was a key element to continuing her commitment to her creative practice.
Now in her 5th year of these little paintings Theresa has transformed these paintings into travel journals and greeting cards known as Yoga Sutra Cards.
Theresa's new business, small cloud shop's main objective is to not put any more junk out into the world.
One way to do this is to limit her carbon footprint by printing ALL work through local professional printer who take pride in ensuring their highest quality standards!
She also uses bio-plastic sleeves made from plants for her cards.
Theresa is honored to have been featured on numerous websites and magazines including: Mantra Magazine, Craft Paper Scissors, MPLSTYLE and yoga travel tree.
She is grateful to work with other small businesses who support locally made merchandise.
Theresa was fortunate to spend the year in the mystical land of Yokohama, Japan. She has a new line of cards and journals that stem from this experience. Theresa has discovered from this experience that she is a visual storyteller. Every card and every journal tells a story through her perspective of Japan and she would love to share this story with you!
